Charles C Ruble Obituary 
Waterloo Daily Courier - Waterloo, Iowa Fri, Jan 21,1949:
Charles C Ruble, 80 of 2204 Sunnyside Dr, Cedar Heights, died at 6 pm Thursday at his home ofcomplications incident to advanced age.  He was born Aug 27, 1868 in Benton Co, is the son of Mr and Mrs Dwight Ruble.  He married when a young man, his wife preceeding him in death.  Mr Ruble married a secondtime to Louisa Peterson, Sept 23, 1917 in Waterloo. He was a retired Illinois Central railroad machinists helper.  Surviving are his son by his first marriage, Glen C Ruble of Cheyenne, Wyoming, his wife, two stepsons, Walter at home and Orville, St Paul, Minn., one stepdaughter Mrs. Gertrude Sheperd, 701 Lime St, two sisters, Mrs Mary Franklin, Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Laura Porter, Westminster, CA and two brothers, Loran, Los Angeles, CA and Elmer, Cambridge, Iowa.  Mr Ruble was a member of the IOOF.  Funeral arrangements
are incomplete.  The body is at O'keefe and Towne funeral home.
